Gemini Image Watermark Remover — FAQ

Is pixel clean a free Gemini image watermark remover?

Yes. Image Studio is completely free — local processing, no signup, full-quality lossless PNG export with no extra watermarks on your result.

Which image formats are supported?

JPG, PNG, and WebP up to 20 MB per file. Always use the original Gemini download — resized or edited copies may not restore correctly.

Why did my image skip or show low confidence?

Only exact-size originals match the watermark catalog. Cropped, scaled, or JPEG-recompressed copies lose the subpixel anchor positions needed for mathematical restoration and are safely skipped.

Do my files upload to a server?

No. All cleaning runs entirely inside your browser using WebAssembly — nothing leaves your device at any point.

Does this work on Nano Banana images?

Yes. Nano Banana is Google’s own name for Gemini 2.5 Flash Image, and Nano Banana 2 is Gemini 3.1 Flash Image — they are Gemini image models, so their output carries the same visible Gemini overlay this tool inverts. The later Gemini Omni and Nano Banana 2 Lite models are handled the same way. Nothing about the model name changes the watermark geometry.

Will this remove SynthID too?

No, and it is not trying to. Nano Banana output also carries Google’s invisible SynthID signal, which is a completely different system from the visible overlay. Reverse-alpha reconstruction cannot affect it. Why SynthID is different →

Can I remove Veo video watermarks here?

Image Studio handles still images only. For Gemini, Veo and Veo 3 video exports use Video Studio →
